I earned my Bachelors degree in physics and mathematics from Sharif University in 2004 and a Masters degree in physics from University of Toronto in 2005. My current research involves working on acquisition, processing and reconstruction techniques for time domain Electron Paramagnetic Resonance Imaging (EPRI), where we try to enhance the spatial and oxygen resolution of EPR images in order to determine the degree of hypoxia in cancerous tissue, and the subsequent effects on the outcome of radiation therapy.
